Anchor Me

This is perhaps the most famouse song by the Mutton Birds - Anchor Me. Enjoy^^

Anchor Me

Full fathom fire
Some day I'll light
Singing songs that come
From dead mans' tounges
Anchor me, anchor me
As the compass turns
And the glass it falls
And the storm clouds roll
And the gulls' they call
Anchor me, anchor me, anchor me

(Chorus)
Anchor me,
In the middle of your deep blue sea
Anchor me, anchor me
In the middle of your deep blue sea
Anchor me, anchor me, anchor me

Let the salt spray lash
On the shivering skin
Where the green waves crash
And the whirlpools spin
Anchor me, anchor me, anchor me

(Chorus)

Where the basnhee's cry
And the bells they sound
When you lift me high
When you pull me down (x3)

(Chorus)

Anchor (anchor me in the middle of your deep blue sea)
Me (anchor me in the middle of your deep blue sea)
Anchor me (in the middle of your deep blue sea)
In the middle of your deep blue sea (anchor me)
Your deep blue sea (anchor me in the middle of your deep blue sea)
In the middle of your deep blue sea (anchor me)
Your deep blue sea (anchor me in the middle of yout deep blue sea)
Anchor me Anchor me, anchor me
Anchor me, anchor me

Dominion Road

This song hold a special place in my heart because I lived on or close to Dominion Road for 2 1/2 years from 2003 - 2005.

Lyrics

Dominion Road is bending
Under its own weight
Shining like a strip
Cut from a sheet metal plate
'Cos its just been raining

Jane reached the point where she knew
What it meant before he opened his mouth
He couldn't say them same
Or he'd have guessed she was moving south
Wanna to be friends

But its getting better now
He found it in him to forgive
He walked the city
And he found a place to live
In a halfway house
Halfway down Dominion Road

As he watched Jane's Brother sell the house
He felt no sense of loss
More like a mountain climber
Looking back having made it across
The steepest face
But he's still climbing
See him trying to cross the street
He checks his footing
Like he was up ten thousand feet
Above the the clouds
Halfway down Dominion Road

But its getting better now
He rests his head on the window sill
He watches the city
See the antennas in the hills
From a halfway house
Halfway down Dominion Road

Halfway Down
Halfway Down
Halfway Down Dominion Road

Halfway Down
Halfway Down
Halfway Down Dominion Road

Dominion Road

Nature Enter Me...

I like this song, it reminds me of Autumn. It is by a New Zealand bank called the Mutton Birds and you can listen to the song on Youtube here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W0G-8V4nCpc

Through falling leaves
I pick my way slowly
Talking aloud
Eases my my mind

Sunlight filters through
I feel my head is drifting
So full of thoughts
I've thought of

What am i gonna do
I need some thoughts that are new

Do do do do dodo dodooo
Do do do dodo dooo
Do do dit do do do ditdo dooo
Nature into me!

Up in a tree
A bird sings so sweetly
Nature's own voice
I hear

Rustling rustling leaves
Turning breeze to speech
Call to me now
Ease my mind

I'll turn something new
Minds layed with dew

Do do do do dodo dodooo
Do do do dodo dooo
Do do do do do do ditdo dooo
Nature into me! (Yeah!)

I'll turn something new
Minds layed with dew

Do do do do dodo dodooo
Do do do dodo dooo
Do do do do do do ditdo dooo
Nature into me! (Yeah!)

Do do do do dodo dodooo
Do do do dodo dooo
Do do do do do do ditdo dooo
